Direction [BOBSON 2008AW]

These are what I did for BOBSON, which is Japanese Denim Brand.
I used to know this brand when I was a kid but I am not sure its still on the street.
They want me to make over totally so I just did what I really want to do!
I call all time my favorite photographer Mari Sarai who is based in London right now.
She said Let's do it and I was so excited and my engine got going full throttle.
It's held in London where I visited for the very first time at the age of 19.
London was totally changed from 1994 (offcourse) but I was so shocked!!
Client eventually loves our 'Make over' then.
Sonoya is sweet girl. and she can MOVE!! Take al look at this her gorgeous legs from her ballet carreer!
Also Maarit did good job. Actually the ribbon Sonoya wraps on her head are mens neck tie.
It's Maarit idea. Good job Maarit!!

これは日本のジーンズブランドボブソンのビジュアルディレクションです。
ボブソンって子供の時着てた覚えはあるけどまだあったんだ、、、的な感じで
お仕事頂いたときさ～どうすっぺ、って話し合いを重ねたんですが
とりあえずかっこよく全てを変えて下さい！みたいな大変熱意のある担当者だったので
僕ら色に染めてみましたが、何か？
まあ僕色に染めるって事はですねまず大ファンであるカメラマンのロンドンの更井真理に電話してみました。
最初は敬語でしたよ。恐れ多くて。でも「やろうぜ！」っつう二つ返事でOKを頂けまして
そっからはもうフルスロットルでしたね～！
19の時以来に訪ねたロンドンは全然変わっててかなりびびりましたけど
酒場で打合せ、みたいなゆる～い感じで進めさせて頂いて無事終了する事ができました。
最終的にクライアントもうちらの仕事気に入って頂けたようで何より♪
モデルソノヤはホントいいコで。大好きっす。見てこの開脚！！バレーやってるからすごいの！
ヘアメイクのマーリットもいい仕事してくれた！頭にリボンとか巻きたい！というオーダーに
スタジオの近所の100円ショップみたいなところ見つけたメンズ用のネクタイを代用という荒技☆
